Ramadan is divided into three parts, known as “Ashras”, with each Ashra consisting of ten days, 1st Ashra (Day 1 to 10), 2nd Ashra (Day 11 to 20), and the third Ashra (Day 21 to 30). All Ashra is special for Muslims. But during the third Ashra of Ramadan, Muslims offer a special prayer called “Taraweeh” and recite a specific Dua (supplication) known as the “Dua for the third Ashra” below you can read. This Dua seeks forgiveness and salvation from Allah for the past sins of Muslims and asks for his mercy and blessings in the remaining days of Ramadan. Below is the Dua of Ramdan 3 Ashra with English and Urdu translation.

1st Ramadan Ashra Dua

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغيثُ
Translation: O the Living, O the Eternal, I seek help in Your grace
ترجمہ؛ اے زندہ اور قائم رب! میں تیری رحمت کے حصول کی فریاد کرتا ہوں

2nd Ramadan Ashra Dua

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ رَبِّی مِنْ کُلِّ زَنْبٍ وَّ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ
Translation: I seek forgiveness from Allah for all my sins and turn to Him
ترجمہ؛ اے میرے رب! میں اپنے گناہوں کی مغفرت چاہتا ہوں اور تیری جانب پلٹتا (توبہ کرتا) ہوں

3rd Ramadan Ashra Dua

اللّٰهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ
Translation: I seek forgiveness from Allah for all my sins and turn to Him
ترجمہ؛ اے اللہ! مجھے آگ کے عذاب سے بچا لے
