PSL 2024 Schedule (Pakistan Super League PSL 9 Schedule)

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 has its season opener on Saturday with reigning champs Lahore Qalandars competing against two-time winning Islamabad United at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The grand celebration of the league will occur in 34 matches held by six participants where three games will be playoffs and one game of the final in the ninth edition of Pakistan’s twenty-twenty cricket league.

On March 18, the PSL 2024 final which will be held at the National Stadium of Karachi is to be scheduled. The telecasting is also live streaming for all matches in India.

PSL 2024 Details

Each team will take part in the league stage of a double round-robin format, where each team will play their matches 10 times. The league stage winner will try its luck in the qualifier who will then proceed to the final. Two teams whereas the first and third place clubs in the league stage contest in one-loss eliminator one. The victor in the subsequent match has to creep past his/her opponent to the finals.

Last year, Lahore Qalandars, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, the speedster of Pakistan, beat Mohammad Rizwan’s Multan Sultans by one run over the Multan Sultans. The Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars have registered the most victories in the domestic league of Pakistan Super League Offering you every option are Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Quetta Gladiators which are providing a single victory.

After PSL 2024, the members of the Pakistan national cricket team take the field for a four-match T20I series being played while in the United Kingdom. The Pakistan team will take part in several international tournaments, including The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in June.

PSL 9 Venues

The PSL 9 fixtures comprise 34 matches which include the PSL play-offs and the grand finale, with the initial phase of the competition starting from February 17. The tournament is slated to be played in 4 different places such as.

The fixtures of PSL 2024 announce the date of the final as 18th March in Karachi while the play-offs would be there in Karachi as well.

The teams will play home and away games, each of the teams getting a chance to host and play as a guest. United Islamabad, along with the Peshawar Zalmis, will play their home games in Rawalpindi. Karachi and Quetta have opted to make their home matches happen at Karachi whereas Multan has been allocated at Multan and Lahore will be playing at Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore.

As per the PSL ’24 schedule, the city of Karachi is all set to host the highest number of matches with a total of 11 matches Lahore with nine Rawalpindi with nine as well to showcase the diversity of the country and Multan will be the host of five matches.

The matchups that will be the most thrilling in PSL 2024 are the rivalry of Lahore and Karachi and the game played between Quetta and Peshawar. Multan Sultans will have a score to settle with Lahore as their late two defeats in the PSL finals are remembered with a frown. It will also send a message to everyone that Islamabad is out to set things right and beat Lahore after losing twice in the group stages.

The matches are expected to be played during the night with some days being double headers which will include day matches as well with the day matches set to begin at 3:The clans are in the start line by 3:00 PM local time and night matches will kick off at 7:00 PM Pakistani Time.
