Toyota’s Corolla line of small sedans has a long history of reliable production in Japan. Its widespread popularity can be attributed to its convenience, attractive appearance, and reliable performance. One of the best-selling automobiles ever since its introduction in 1966. The twelfth generation has been introduced worldwide but is not yet available in Pakistan; the eleventh generation is the most recent.

Toyota first entered the Pakistani market in 1989 through a joint venture and in 1993 debuted the first locally produced Corolla. Since then, it has consistently been the most popular vehicle in Pakistan. The seventh-generation Corolla, which was the first to be locally produced in Pakistan, quickly became the country’s best-selling car. It was the longest-running locally constructed Toyota vehicle and was made in Pakistan until 2002.

The 2023 Toyota Corolla

Pakistan is currently home to the 11th generation Corolla 2023. It was rethought to have a more roomy interior and a contemporary look. In 2013, production began, and between 2017 and 2023, it has undergone two redesigns. There are six different 11th-generation Toyota Corolla models available.

In 2019, Toyota stopped producing 11th-generation Corolla 1.3L models. The 1.3L model was debuted in Pakistan and was a big success there, but IMC has since dropped it in favor of the Toyota Yaris. Meanwhile, the Toyota Corolla was updated twice as recently as 2021 after an initial refresh in 2017.
